Events Carlton House Equestrian Centre will only be having polo matches and lessons in 2008, the matches are for beginners and more experienced players each month. Please call or email for more information. The 100m x 50m all weather arena with Martin Collins Ecotrack surface is suitable for any equestrian discipline up to and including arena polo. The arena is available for hire on a full day, half day or hourly basis including show jumps, practice and BSJA standard, and dressage markers. The grass covered earth banks around two sides make public viewing easy, safe and practical. Pro-Am tournament October 4th and 5th Entries welcome for teams of three, one pro and two non-pros in each team. Beginners match each month The next one is on August 3rd, visiting teams are welcome to come to this, again one professional in each team and two beginners. Lesley Jackson Fashion evening and polo demonstration match The Fashion evening and polo demonstration went very well this year and was enjoyed by all, we will be having this event again next year, all being well the date should be Thursday June 18th 2009 starts 6pm till 10 pm. Creature Comforts A purpose built rest room with wheelchair access to toilets, washing facilities, a shower and a “brew-up” area for making hot and cold drinks is located adjacent to the main stable block. Parking There are over 2300 square metres of parking on clean concrete adjacent to all the yard’s facilities. Parking of horseboxes or trailers for extended periods can be arranged. Spectators are welcome to all of our events with the earth banks around the arena make viewing easy, safe and practical.
